Our esteemed client, with a longstanding and reputable presence in the sector, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Quality Manager.
Role Overview: As the Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the organisation, spearheading all aspects related to product quality and food safety. You'll be at the forefront of decision-making processes, ensuring that the highest standards and processes are consistently upheld. From handling complaints and non-conformances to overseeing the safety of the technical team, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the sterling reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of product quality and food safety.
* Address and resolve any complaints and non-conformances promptly and effectively.
* Uphold and enhance the highest standards and processes in line with industry regulations.
* Demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of the technical team.
* Maintain compliance with BRC standards on a daily basis.
* Manage and develop the team to maximize their potential and productivity.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a management role within the food and drink industry, with a strong track record of delivering results.
* Prior experience with chilled products is desirable but not essential.
* Essential experience working with BRC standards.
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of HACCP principles.
* A commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
