Job Title: 3rd Line WAN Network Support & Project Engineer
Contract Duration: 9 months

BPSS/SC Clearance required
The Person:
- In-depth knowledge of Juniper SRX platform, including Junos, various SRX, and MX platforms with comprehensive CLI exposure.
- Proficiency in routing and switching.
- Extensive experience in configuring and tuning BGP, including policy-based routing, attribute manipulation, load-balancing techniques, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting IPSEC VPNs and MPLS.
- Knowledge of PKI infrastructure elements and certificate-based VPN authentication.
The Role: We are seeking an experienced 3rd Line WAN Network Support & Project Engineer to join our team based in Solihull. The role involves configuring SRX series routers to meet project deadlines and supporting day-to-day operations to ensure the delivery of secure global network services.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, troubleshoot, and tune Juniper network devices, serving as a technical lead and point of escalation for network-related faults.
- Collaborate with the network design community, sharing knowledge and upskilling within the 3rd line team.
- Handle a mix of project/implementation work and technical network support escalations.
- Immediate start contract role for a minimum of 9 months, with potential for extension or permanent placement (subject to availability).
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a 3rd line network engineer.
- Technical expertise in Juniper SRX, BGP, IPSEC, MPLS, and PKI.
- Ability to work on tight project deadlines and support BAU operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to lead technical teams.

- Duration: 9 months
- Engagement: PAYE or Sole Trader (Ltd company engagement not available)
