At Home Instead, we are all about genuine connections. That’s why our visits are never rushed. A minimum of 1 hour with your client allows for plenty of time to get to know each of your clients and form a genuine bond.

If you’re someone who enjoys a good natter, and someone who really cares about our community, this could be right up your street. It’s also a great way to pick up new skills and feel a sense of achievement every single day, whilst also working to a schedule that can fit your personal commitments! Our local office is always on hand to support and we make sure you have the training and support you need from us very step of the way. 

Home Instead build our care packages around the individual client, from a few hours a week to several hours a day, this makes it feasible to be a caregiver alongside other commitments such as work or family. 

Job Description



The caregiver role is really varied, from companionship calls to taking people to appointments, from preparing a meal to doing some house work, from personal grooming to personal care, as part of your client's daily or weekly routine you can really help them live their best life at home and in the community. 

We offer competitive hourly rates £12.50 - £13.50 per hr and  you have time to travel between your calls so no rushing and more time spent with your clients.

You will preferably need a car and access to your own transport in order to get between your client's homes.

We have a diverse workforce with Care Professionals joining at all stages of life and all walks of life and experiences. Not all our Care Pro's have worked as Care Assistants/ Support workers / HCA's and we are happy to accept applications if you are new to the care sector and wish to learn new skills. Life experience will give you transferable skills and personal experience caring for a friend or family member will mean you can care the Home Instead way.
