Care Assistant - Worcester

Bluebird Care

Location

Evesham, Worcestershire | United Kingdom

Job description

STOP what you’re doing. If you don’t read this, you will miss an opportunity of a lifetime!

We’ve all looked after somebody at some point in our lives whether it’s a child, a partner or even other family members. Think about that rewarding feeling you get when you’re able to make them smile, feel better or even make a difference.

Working for Bluebird Care means you can experience that every day multiple times a day. It would be silly not to apply.

It doesn’t matter if you haven’t had any formal training, we’ll provide you with training, shadowing and mentoring. We’ll be here to support you every step of the way.

All we ask is that you have access to a vehicle with a full valid UK driving licence so that you can travel between our customer's homes. But most importantly that you bring your caring and passionate flare to every single customer visit.

Don’t pass up the opportunity to work for one of the UK’s largest home care providers. With over 200 offices across the UK and delivering 20,000 customer visits every day, you’re safe in our hands.

This role is heavily focused on delivering personal care, but it is more than that, it’s about delivering an experience. We may be the only people some of our customers see daily, so it’s about delivering an experience. We need to ensure our customers feel safe at home but also that they still get to carry out the hobbies and interests that they know and love.

The benefits of joining Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon:

. We offer job security, a highly competitive salary, holiday pay, a discretionary bonus.

. Travel 30p per mile allowance.

. FREE Blue light card - offering lots of discounts at high street names.

. A care-at-home company that values and supports its staff.

. A dedicated team Supervisor to support you.

. Flexible shift patterns - mornings or evenings.

. Full induction and ongoing internal training.

. Opportunity for personal development through national diploma training.

. Opportunity for career progression and management training.

In return, you must:

Hold a full UK driving licence, have a car for work, have very good spoken and written English.

If it sounds like the role for you, why not join our team by applying below.

Fixed Salary: £23,010 (based on 37.5 hours a week contract)
