Lloyd Recruitment Services is delighted to collaborate with a respected business in East Grinstead, who is actively seeking an Advertising Sales Executive to join their dynamic team on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Duties of the Advertising Sales Executive:
- Achieve and surpass targets for selling advertising space within the classified and display sections of the monthly magazine and website
- Foster relationships with both new and existing clients, identifying opportunities to fulfil their advertising needs and nurture long–term mutual benefit
- Introduce and foster new partnerships, ensuring the attainment of commercial targets, including meeting marketing expectations through advertising and email
- Support the exploration of opportunities to increase advertising revenue through diverse channels, market sectors, and by leveraging business opportunities and developments
- Secure sponsorship revenue for events
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient management of the advertising sales process
- Guarantee the timely delivery of artwork to specified requirements
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- Demonstrate proven success in a sales environment, with a preference for a background in media sales
- Exhibit self–motivation with a dedication to surpassing revenue targets
- Maintain a consistent and credible approach
- Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and cultivate lasting relationships with clients
- Possess strong negotiation skills
- Showcase excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including effective presentation abilities
- Be results–driven with proficient time management, planning, and organisational skills
- Demonstrate a proactive mindset and the ability to think logically, objectively, and creatively
- Feel comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Be a team player capable of collaborating within a multi–disciplinary team
- Have a good understanding of financial performance drivers
- Be open to occasional overnight stays required at major events
- Possess preferred software knowledge, particularly in Google G–suite
- A background in marketing is desired but not essential
- This role involves outbound prospecting through telephone and email channels, with occasional attendance at trade fairs and events away from the office
