Community Safety Apprentice
Full time, 2.5 year fixed term contract
Salary range: £22,099 - £23,928
We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic individual looking for a unique and challenging role as a Community Safety Apprentice for Spelthorne Borough Council.
This apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on training and the chance to put your skills into practice. Apprenticeships are suitable to all age ranges as it focuses on upskilling or supporting career changes.
The successful candidate will learn a wide range of skills in ASB case management as well as wider Crime & Disorder investigation. They will also work with our Community Safety Team to investigate and prevent anti-social behaviour in our communities whilst being supported to achieve a formal qualification.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Apprentices who complete this apprenticeship can work across differing sectors with the most common being as Local Government, Police, Housing & Fire Services.
Duration
This apprenticeship is completed over 2 years & 6 months
24-months training & 6 months EPA (end point assessment)
Apprenticeship provider
Apprenticeship standard - Antisocial Behaviour and Community Safety Officer - Level 4 (Higher national certificate) The apprenticeship will be provided by Resolve.
Things to consider:
A minimum of GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths are required.
Please note as part of the employment checks this post will subject to a basic Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
Due to the sensitive nature of Community Safety we will not be accepting applications from those under the age of 18.
A full driving licence would be desirable but not essential.
