Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Grounds Staff member to join our wonderful Grounds Team at Wycombe Abbey. The Grounds Team are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the School grounds and gardens including sports pitches, parkland and woodland.

The successful applicant will have a dedicated interest and enthusiasm for grounds work with a sound knowledge of grounds techniques and methods. The ability to present work well, ensuring that all jobs are completed to a high standard is essential. The appointed candidate will possess an NVQ (or equivalent) in Horticulture/Grounds Maintenance and Spraying Certificates PA1 and PA6.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 15:30 and every fourth Saturday 07:00 – 12:00. Flexible hours, including weekend work, will be required occasionally to meet demand e.g. to support events, the start and end of terms and in adverse weather.
