Audit Senior

Location: Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh

Hours: 9:00-5:30 (flexible start and finish times)

Salary: Up to £50k, dependant on qualifications and experience

Our client, a prestigious and global organisation, is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Audit Senior to join their dynamic team in Chandler's Ford. As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our client's financial information and reporting. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of clients, enabling you to further advance your professional skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting detailed financial audits, risk assessments, and evaluations.


• Developing and implementing internal controls and audit procedures to identify and mitigate potential risks.


• Collaborating with team members and clients to gather and analyse information necessary for audit engagements.


• Preparing audit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documents accurately and within designated deadlines.


• Providing professional advice and recommendations to clients based on audit findings.


• Keeping abreast of changes and updates in auditing standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) would also consider part qualified.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing and assurance. As well as experience of leading external audit assignments from planning to completion.


• Proficient knowledge of auditing standards and regulations. Experience of FRS102 is essential.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues.


• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues.
