We have an opportunity for a Contracts and Payroll Administrators to join our Human Resources (HR) Contracts and Payroll Team to deliver an effective HR Contracts and Payroll Service ensuring all deadlines are met and achieving high quality service standards.

You will be responsible for HR employment contracts and payroll activities for an assigned area/customer base, providing excellent customer service and consistently meeting high service standards in regard to quantity and quality of outputs. You will be required to problem solve at first point of contact, and develop strong working relationships with services, schools and customers, ensuring all published deadlines and legal and statutory responsibilities are met.

The entry level of the career grade offers the potential for new team members to gain skills, knowledge and experience with support and direction from a mentor. Progressing to the higher levels of the career grade will be subject to providing evidence to meet progression criteria.

The role would suit a very organised customer focused individual with a relevant HR or Payroll qualification (or working towards the qualification) e.g. CIPD or equivalent demonstrable skills and experience relevant to the post. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and numeracy skills to be able to undertake calculations. You will have HR and/or Payroll experience and a good working knowledge of using Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. Knowledge and understanding of Local Government and Teachers terms and conditions of employment would be desirable. The HR and Payroll System we currently use is iTrent and therefore experience of using iTrent would be advantageous.
