Join a growing team in a leading Mechanical manufacturing business as a skilled and motivated Stores & Despatch Operative.
As a Stores and Dispatch Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that products and components are effectively managed and organised. Your responsibilities will include managing the inflow and outflow of products, setting up part kits for production staff, and conducting regular stock checks. Your attention to detail and well-organised approach will be crucial in ensuring that the company's operations run smoothly.
Stores & Despatch Operative Requirements:
'' Experience in a similar Engineering or Technical stores-related position.
'' Knowledge of a CRM/MRP or similar internal databases.
'' Proficient knowledge of Word and Excel.
'' Excellent communication skills.
'' Previous experience of kitting and picking kits / parts according to BOM's and kit lists.
Stores & Despatch Operative Responsibilities:
'' Record and inspect incoming goods before placing in proper location.
'' Ensure proper storage location by booking materials into the system.
'' Select items from stores, carefully package them, and arrange for their dispatch.
'' Managing equipment warranties and repairs involves working with both customers and suppliers.
'' Report stock shortages; liaising with buyers / purchasing teams to arrange replenishment.
'' Maintaining the safety and tidiness in the Stores and Working Area.
