Job description
Our pastoral team are an integral part of student’s daily life at our school. Pastoral leadership is a challenging but incredibly rewarding pathway in our profession. Students are all attached to form groups but are also placed into houses, which have nearly 100 years of heritage and tradition at the school. Pastoral leaders are given the time and support from a wide team of professionals to bring out the best in every student.
We are seeking to appoint an innovative and dynamic Teacher to lead the learning and progress of students within a given year group. You will proactively support our students and address barriers to their learning in a bid to ensure they are in the best possible position to achieve their potential.
Raynes Park High School is a vibrant, student-focused 11–19 secondary school rated “Good” by Ofsted in January 2019. We foster a strong community and have great pride in our students and their achievements. Whilst the students are at the centre of everything we do, we recognise and value our dedicated and committed staff. We are actively seeking ways to enable our staff to achieve a balance between the exacting demands of their profession and their lives outside work.
