Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Systems Analyst at the University of Central Lancashire. This individual will play a key role in the University’s IT System Development team by providing significant specialist skills in business and IT systems analysis. The role will be within the Integration Product Team, focusing on data analysis and system integrations for the University's IT Portfolio; applying agile development practices whilst working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary product team focused on continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and analysis skills to be confident working with customers gathering data requirements, working in close collaboration with wider IT team and key business stakeholders. You will have the ability to communicate and collaborate well with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation with varying technical experience and capabilities; coupled together with strong problem-solving skills, a logical approach and the ability to see different perspectives and alternative options. You will have the opportunity to work on business requirement gathering, data analysis and be an active participant in the software development process. You must be able to work well under pressure and have an appreciation of business priorities, deadlines, and client requirements. The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant business/systems discipline, or equivalent work experience.
