Blue Arrow is proud to be working with a management services client who specialise in spanning cutting tools, abrasives, special tools, and industrial supplies. They are looking to recruit a Program Manager to join their team based at one of their client's sites in Derby on a full-time permanent basis who specialise within the Aerospace industry.

Hours: Mon-Fri (Full-time)

Salary: £40,000-£44,000 (dependant on experience)

What duties will be included in the Program Manager role?

• Manage the Integrator contract for the defined Profit Centre
• Total Plant Sales & Profitability
• Inventory Supply chain Management
• Manage and achieve the KPI's.
• Support around profitability, delivery, cost savings and accounts receivable
• Ensuring Customer Satisfaction
• Vendor/Customer problem resolution High Level
• Manage each departments tooling cost and report them to Plant Management
• Manage supply base.
• Task and meet with suppliers to review cost savings activities.
• Mentoring and Development of plant team
• Support all operations of company staff alongside performance reviews, vacation approval, arrange & coordinate training.
• Customer Interaction Plant Management
• Attending quarterly CMS Meetings
• Attending Supplier meetings as required

What will you bring to the Program Manager role?

• Previous experience as a Program Manager in the same or similar role
• HND or higher in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years' Experience of CNC Machining and cutting tool applications.
• Experience of Precision grinding / Abrasives applications

• At least 2 years management experience (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to liaise with colleagues and senior management.
• Able to work well and manage a team.
• Strong IT/MS Package skills

Where is the Program Manager role based?
The role is based on the outskirts of Derby, so if you live in Derby or the surrounding areas this should be a short commute for you. You would also need to drive as you sometimes may be required to travel to other sites (within a reasonable distance and travel expenses are covered for this). On-site parking available.
