Role Purpose 
Working with residents to enable a capital project to be completed on time and on budget with excellent customer satisfaction. To take responsibility for publicising / coordinating important project information between residents, other stakeholders and the Economy property and compliance teams. To establish a united, practical, mutually beneficial working relationships, during the whole life of the project programme.

Responsibilities 

To manage communications between the local ward councillors, the project delivery and teams, residents, contractors & suppliers to assess and develop solutions for capital improvements to be implemented especially when residents have specific needs which require nonstandard implementation procedures. 

To visit residents in their homes to discuss their specific circumstances and compile household profiles to assist in delivering works improvements with minimum disruption.

Daily,  encourage and develop tenant involvement in all aspects of a scheme design and delivery.

To be the first point of contact for residents who are experiencing difficulties with the works in their homes.

Daily, to be proactive in promoting resident involvement in our services and where necessary, consult with residents on our service delivery and improvement programmes.

Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and compliance sector, as well as an understanding of how that impacts on the communities of the borough.

Monitor, coordinate, and communicate strategic objectives of property and compliance sector to the local communities.

Requirements 

Previous experience as a client liaison officer with a council / housing association 

Available to start immediately or within 1 to 2 weeks after interviewing 

Contract

Inital 3 month contract with the opportunity to extend

PAYE via Umbrella 

Hybrid position - hybrid roles staff expected to split their days between offices and site to be arranged and attend the occasional evening residents meetings as directed
