Job title: Project Coordinator
Reports to: Resource Scheduling Manager
Location: Manchester M22 (Hybrid – 3 days per week on-site)
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, with a 60-minute lunch break.
Salary: Up to £25k DOE + benefits

Focus of the role:
As a Project Coordinator for BCN Group, you’ll be part of the PMO function who work closely with our project engineers to efficiently support in the fulfilment of client projects. Our clients and projects vary in scale and complexity, so no two days will be the same.
The team is responsible for maintaining and improving the overall effectiveness of coordinating projects. This includes meeting of contractual commitments and liaising with customers. You will play a key role in supporting our project delivery process and will also work closely with the rest of our Business Operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling small scale projects with engineers
- Monitoring of cost overruns vs job budgets
- Working with other teams within the business to correctly route appropriate work.
- Liaising with purchasing to ensure equipment is available for jobs.
- Working with customers to confirm booked work.
- Monitoring and escalating of project queries.
- Ensuring efficient progress of projects
- Providing problem resolution to optimise efficiency.

Person, Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Experience of diary management or scheduling would be highly desirable.
- Ability to prioritise conflicting workload and schedules in line with the business and customer needs.
- Demonstrate a very high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a ‘Can-Do’ attitude.
- Be an excellent and confident communicator.
- Proficient in all Microsoft packages – intermediate/advanced user in word and excel.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
