Job description
ENS have the pleasure of working alongside a long established Health and Social Care provider and we are looking to recruit a large number of experienced support workers on a temp to perm basis to work with a young person with learning disabilities who lives in a Supported Living Unit.
On a day to day basis, you will be supporting one service user who currently has 2to1 support, who has severe learning disabilities, epilepsy and can display challenging behaviour.
The Service User is non - verbal but can communicate using touch, he likes to have fun and responds well when stimulated with activities.
You will be responsible for organising and attending appointments, planning fun days out or arranging fun games indoors if the weather isn’t great.
You will be expected to support with personal care, administer medication, help access the community and keep all the records up to date.
We have full or part time hours available, excellent rates of pay, free MAYBO training for successful candidates and the option of becoming permanent after 3 months.
Staff ideally need to be drivers.
