Are you a Principal Stress Engineer? Confident managing full product lifecycles from conceptualisation to production support? Do you have strong experience in both stress and thermal analysis? Principal Stress Engineer Permanent Position Day Shift – 8 – 4:45 / Early finish Friday Salary: Competitive ASAP Start Wolverhampton – Hybrid working available (3 days office based) Principal Stress Engineer The Principal Stress Engineer will have the following responsibilities: - You will be performing preliminary sizing analysis and conceptual design support
- Conducting computational and classic analysis on mechanical components. This will be through structural, vibrational and thermal analysis.
- Generating technical reports from findings and presenting to both internal and external stakeholders
- Be the primary contact for stress within the value stream
Principal Stress Engineer The Principal Stress Engineer will require the following experience: - Degree qualified
- Proven working experience of Stress/Thermal analysis
- Proficient in analysis software (Abaqus, MathCAD and Catia is advantageous)
- Advanced understanding around FEA
