Social Media Executive | Plymouth | up to £28k Basic
Zachary Daniels Recruitment are on the hunt for a Social Media Executive to join this incredible retailer, based in Plymouth.
The position of Social Media Executive is a newly created role that will see you have end to end responsibility of growing the various social channels across Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and LinkedIn.
Reporting into the Social Media Manager, you will create ideas and see them through to execution and analysis. From written content to videos, you will be someone who keeps up with the latest trends and reacts quickly to these.
Day to day, your responsibilities in the position of Social Media Executive will include:
- End to end management of the company social media channels, reporting into the social media manager.
- Create engaging and dynamic written, graphic and video content.
- Engage in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms.
- Optimizes content following search engine optimization (SEO).
- Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites and encourages audience participation.
- Assists social media team with large projects.
- Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns.
- Monitor competitor activity.
- Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content.
- Be knowledgeable in social media trends and integrate these into the business.
- Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns.
- Prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics.
- Develop strategies for growing sales & increasing awareness.
- Work cohesively with in-house teams to ensure targets are met.
- Implement influencer endorsements to support the overall social media strategy
To be considered for the position of Social Media Executive, you will offer the following:
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, specifically Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Design experience across Adobe Creative is desirable
- Both a creative and analytical flair
- A confident and vibrant personality - you will be comfortable communicating to senior leaders in the business
- An ability to manage multiple priorities whilst responding to tight deadlines and remaining calm under pressure
