Warehouse Supervisor duties and responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff. The Warehouse Supervisor will work in a busy environment, where priorities can change at a moment’s notice, so an ability to multitask is a must and to delegate duties is essential with this role.

Warehouse Supervisor job duties and responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for deliveries
• Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
• Communicating with customers to answer questions and troubleshoot problems
• Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy.
• Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained.
• Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed, operating forklifts and other machinery.
• Be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Be highly motivated and acquire strong leadership skills, prioritizing tasks and experienced in all  warehouse operations

Essential: Have a driving licence and own transport.

Desired: CB Forklift Licence would be beneficial , however, training will be given.

Hourly rate: £12.50

Hours:  4:30am – 8:30am & 3:30pm – 7:30pm Monday – Friday, alternating Saturdays.

Expected: 36 hours per week
