Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer / Deburrer
Aldershot
Hours: Mon – Thurs 7:00am-3:45pm / Fri 6am-1pm
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Main Purpose of Job:
You will be responsible for performing deburring processes including setting up and operating machinery that grinds, smooths and buffs mass-produced parts, ensuring they are presentable to be packed and sent to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Programming, Setting, and operating Schaublin CNC Lathe;
⦁ Supporting both the Deburring and Engineering department;
⦁ Turning/Grinding components to support our busy Deburr department while also supporting
⦁ Engineering with Tooling/Fixture design and manufacture;
⦁ Machine to drawings and understanding drawing tolerances in both English and imperial;
⦁ Work to tight tolerances in both English and Imperial;
⦁ Ability to train and share knowledge with others;
⦁ Adhere to the company’s health and safety requirements and complete training as required.
Skills and Qualifications/experience:
⦁ Experienced background and track record in programming and machining
⦁ Conversant in Fanuc Operating software
⦁ Ability to read Engineering Drawings and converse comfortably on a technical level
⦁ Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
⦁ Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative
⦁ Keen eye for detail and quality along with the ability to manage their workload
⦁ Proactive with excellent organisational and numeracy skills and a positive approach to continuous improvements, have a ‘right first time’ attitude and a methodical approach to work
