An exciting new opportunity in Bristol for a Depot Manager! This is for a company looking to expand into the Bristol area having achieved huge success with their brand in other areas of the UK

Salary up to £50k DOE + vehicle + benefits

Are you looking to join a well-respected and expanding construction plant hire group as a Depot Manager, where you will be responsible for the day to day operations, sales and delivery of a busy depot near Bristol

Responsibilities of the Depot Manager

• As the Depot manager, you will continuously improve standards and liaise with colleagues to optimise efficiency and identify new business opportunities

• Coordinate services and maintenance of plant equipment

• Negotiate with suppliers.

• Assist the engineering team with technical knowledgeon the plant equipment

• Submit KPI's working towards and achieving P+L's.

• Oversee correct use of PPE equipment and health and safety practices

• Fully conversant with transport and deliveries

• Ensure full adherence to Health and Safety matters and quality processes.

Requirements of the Depot Manager:

• Excellent communication skills

• A proven construction plant hire and management background.

• Some mechanical background and technical knowledge of plant machinery, powered access, lifting equipment small tools would be an advantage

• Previous experience working as a depot manager, service manager, assistant manager, account manager, ops supervisor or workshop manager

• Ability to work under pressure to set deadlines and prioritise tasks

• A confident and flexible attitude

• Full UK Driving licence
