As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for a varied role where you will be fully office based.

Please note that this will be an office based role.

Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• End to end role, responsible for book keeping, monthly reporting and year end accounts. As the business grows there is the potential to develop the team
• Fulfilling the role of business partner to key stakeholders (directors, brokers, operations staff and compliance within the Energy division) and interacting on a daily basis with Group Finance and Management, and Compliance
• Responsible for developing and preparing reporting for monthly management information, board meetings, submissions to financial regulators (FCA and overseas) etc
• Assisting with a finance software migration that will be taking place in 2024 - moving to SAP Business By Design
• Assisting with ad hoc operational requirements such as onboarding of new clients, client maintenance

Finance Manager Skills:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, ideally with a minimum of 2 years PQE
• Applicants from Practice or Industry welcomed but some experience of Financial Services would be beneficial
• Good knowledge and understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, UK Corporation tax and VAT regime
• Commercially minded and ability to exercise good judgement
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
