Job description

Driver Hire are recruiting for a permanent van driving position with our client in Tonbridge.

You will be working with a company who have family at the centre of their business and specialise in providing packaging goods and services to businesses across the South East and beyond.

You will be required to work on a mixture of assignments where some days will be local multidrop in Kent, some days will include London deliveries and some longer runs where you will make a bulk delivery to just one customer.

The position will be available for 3-4 days per week for the first two months but will increase to a 5 day working week in the coming months.

Benefits:

• £11.74 per hour
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• £250 quarterly bonus for no damage to vehicle
• Permanent position

Hours of work:

• 9 hours per day with a 45 minute break
• Monday to Friday
• Start times can vary when particular jobs require an early start, but mainly 0800 start

Our client are focused on finding a reliable candidate with excellent customer service skills who will fit into their existing team of drivers but experience of working as a commercial driver before is essential, ideally over 3 years.
