Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle, adhering to UK road regulations and company policies at all times.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations promptly and securely.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of delivery paperwork.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to plan and coordinate delivery schedules effectively.
- Uphold excellent customer service by displaying professionalism and a positive attitude when dealing with clients.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure and risk-free working environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid and up-to-date HGV Class 1 driving license.
- Possess a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
- Thorough understanding of UK road regulations and traffic laws.
- Strong knowledge of advanced driving techniques, including maneuvering and truck handling.
- Excellent navigation skills to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing delivery paperwork.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as required.
