Exciting opportunity to work at a large recognisable commercial estate situated in Cambridge. CBW are currently recruiting for a carpenter join the on site maintenance team covering a commercial estate. Reporting to M&E Estates Manager on site, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and trade qualifications in Carpentry / Joinery (C&G / NVQ). Plenty of training will be offered within the role, a perfect opportunity for a carpenter local to Cambridge looking to progress their commercial maintenance career. This is an ongoing permanent role and offers a yearly salary of £26,000 - £30,000 based on qualifications and experience.

Key duties & Responsibilities

- Carpentry and joinery
- Painting & Decorating
- Fixing Furniture
- Hanging Pictures & Shelves
- Maintain and update Log books
- Assist the maintenance team on site
- Escort sub-contractors
- General Building Maintenance
- Helpdesk Requests and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.

Hours of work

- Monday to Friday
- 09:00 - 17:00

- £26,000 - £30,000

Requirements

- Carpentry / joinery qualifications (C&G / NVQ)
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Good communication skills
