Platform Engineer – Remote - £60kAWS, Cloud, Linux, Kubernetes, Software Development, Terraform, Ansible, Git
This exciting and established client is looking to add a Platform Enigneer to their development team based in Penrith. The successful Platform Engineer will have proven experience in a similar role and your skills will include extensive Linux and Cloud experience. You should have experience providing management of shared infrastructure and contributing to the design of multi-tenancy systems.
Core skills required:
- Excellent working knowledge of Linux systems (advanced Linux topics i.e. eBFP, cgroups etc. are beneficial)
- Excellent experience working with cloud providers
- Experience of container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of software development
- Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Understanding of version control using Git
- Managing several projects and prioritising demands
- Self-managing workload and continually meeting agreed deadlines
