Job description
As part of our Family Hub model, we are developing our Drug and Alcohol Family Support service. As part of this service, we are looking to recruit a Young Persons Well Being worker.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned interventions to children and young people relating to the impact of parental/adult drug and alcohol use. This could be through 1.2.1 work or group work and can be delivered in the family home or in a community-based setting such as a school or a Family Hub. Listening to the voice of the child is key to understanding their lived experiences and helping to ensure they receive the right support. It is paramount the work undertaken feeds into children and family’s plans, both in Early Help and the statutory arena. You may also be the lead worker where needed. We are looking for someone who can be creative in engaging young people in the work they undertake ensuring interventions are appropriate to a young person’s age and understanding.Job tags
