Pay: £38,000 a year
Hours: Rotating shifts - Early Shift: Monday-Thursday 06:00am -14:30pm and Friday 06:00am -12:00pm Late Shift : Monday-Thursday 14:30pm-23:00pn and Friday 12:00pm-18:00pm

GI Pro are proud to be working with a client based in Leamington Spa we are looking for a
Mechanical Fitter to join the team.
The Role : Mechanical Fiiter
Mechanical Fitter is responsible for the assembly of sub-assemblies or the finished machine assembly of both manufactured and bought-out supplier components.
- Uses own skills and hand-held tools to assemble painted steel components and supplier components in an efficient manner to maximise production
- Operates all equipment in a safe manner and reports hazards associated with the equipment or its operations to the Fitting Shop Team Leader
- Produces finished sub-assemblies and machines to the required quality standard
- Self-inspects own work to set quality standards
- Follows required procedures that are provided to assist in the assembly process
- Maintains and produces a level of output that will minimise production delays
- Cleans and maintains an orderly work area
- Communicates effectively with other workers in the process work flow
- Assists others in the area when needed
The Person: Mechanical Fitter
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
- Knowledge of vehicle hydraulic systems
- Good mechanical skills
- Ability to read and work to drawings and standard operating procedures
- Physical ability to work in awkward positions such as kneeling, lying down and overhead
- Ability to climb and work from a ladder or platform
- Ability to operate hand-held tools, including air operated wrenches
- Trained in the use of overhead cranes
