Job description

Cadence Design Systems is looking for a highly motivated software engineer to work with the Cadence Xcelium simulator. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging and supporting Low Power solution.

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

BS (CS/ECE/EE) with 2 years or MS degree

Strong C/C++ development skills with a good understanding of object-oriented design

Strong background in Computer Science fundamentals (Data Structures, Algorithms)

Passionate to learn and explore new technologies and demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills

Experience with UNIX and/or LINUX platforms is preferred

Prior experience in EDA tool development is a plus

Knowledge of VHDL/System Verilog is a plus

Knowledge/Experience with IEEE 1801 (UPF) standard is a big plus
