Role Overview: As a Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and social development of students with SEN. You will work closely with classroom teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning plans, provide one-on-one support, and create inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering lessons that accommodate diverse learning needs.
• Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to assess student progress and adapt support strategies accordingly.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
• A patient and compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to undergo relevant training and development.
