Location:  Coventry

Salary:  £30,000 + Annual bonus opportunity

Working hours:  08.30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and Friday 08.30 – 15.00.

My client is a global business based in the UK who have created a brand-new position for a Social Media Marketing Manager to join their growing marketing team based in central Coventry.

The Role:

Reporting into the head of Marketing, you will take full control over all social media campaigns.
As the designated 'Social Media Expert', the Social Media Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the sales managers and the rest of the marketing team to integrate the individual marketing strategies into their social media efforts.

• You will have full control over the company’s social media strategy. They currently use Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and WhatsApp.
• You will effectively manage the social media calendar.
• You will manage social media advertising campaigns, both paid & organic.
• You will constantly evaluate and refine their social media approach ensuring optimal performance of current and future campaigns.
• On a regular basis, you will develop digital campaigns with the end goal to expand their online communities, and actively engage in and moderate these community discussions.
• Create effective and on trend content for all social media platforms.
• Connecting with influencers works well for the company. You will look to form and oversee collaborations with social media influencers.
• You will attend events and exhibitions, engaging with the exhibitors to create informative content such as interview, photos, and news updates.

The ideal candidate:

• Degree in Communications or Marketing - with focus on social media.
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in social media marketing.
• In-depth understanding of all major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and WhatsApp.
• Experience in editing software such as Canva and Photoshop.
• Experience is running paid social media advertising campaigns along with organic.
