About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider in the healthcare industry, based in Rotherham and providing specialist nursing care and rehabilitation for adults living with complex needs such as mental health conditions and physical disabilities.

They have doubled in size since November 2020 with a sturdy growth plan to continue growing over the next few years. Currently with 50 homes across the UK. With growth, there are wanting to expand their legal base and hire a legal counsel.

Job Description

The successful Legal Counsel will be responsible for:

• Reviewing contracts with funders,
• Dealing with Data Protection,
• Handling insurance claims,
• Providing general commercial legal advice to the business,
• Supporting the Legal Director on any ad hoc matters as and when necessary.

You will be required to attend the office weekly on a hybrid basis.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have a background in a healthcare setting and some years experience handling in-house commercial legal matters.

While healthcare experience is desirable, it isn't essential, as you will be brought up to speed and supported by the legal team.

We are looking for candidates who are team players, organised, and ambitious.

What's on Offer

Salary is dependent on experience - around £60 - 70k per annum.

Benefits include 30 days holiday, healthcare and life assurance cover.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis.
