Job Description
- High profile role in the business working directly with senior management
- The Senior Business Controller reports the financial and operational performance of the business to relevant stakeholders in a clear and commercial focused way
- Supports and works closely with others to maximise profitability and reduce business risk
- Monitors, measures & actions profitability, productivity & key operational KPI's.
- Balance sheet risk & opportunity management
- Preparation of operational and head office function business cases
- Line manager to one direct report
- Deputises for Head of Controlling in their absence. This includes attendance at month end SMT calls, contributing to key initiatives & smooth running of the wider function.
- Plans, coordinates and rolls out key training where it is required
- Works closely with Sales to identify impact of new business wins / losses & accurately forecasts impact of pipeline conversion
- Works as an adviser for Business Operations on behalf of finance to drive standard optimised best practices.
- Coordinates Planning and Forecasting processes
- Proactively identifies trends, opportunities, risks by staying close to the business

To be considered you will be a qualified accountant with relevant, FP&A/commercial finance experience
