Job description
This is a newly created Group Tax Manager role for this large privately owned Group to be responsible for Tax compliance, planning and indirect taxes.
A fantastic opportunity for an individual to join an existing, growing and help design and develop the Tax function to serve an established UK business with expansion plans.
The role will be predominantly Corporate Tax but will cover areas such as M&A, VAT, SAO, Transfer Pricing, PAYE, HMRC relationships and wider governance matter. As with all newly created roles there will be a lot of variety and planning as the role becomes established.
Additionally, you will have to support of a tax accountant / assistant for the more routine compliance work. This role requires an experienced Tax Manager either from another in-house team or a Corporate Tax Manager (manager/senior manager) from a large accounting firm.
On offer is a great salary and benefits package and whilst face to face office time is important to the Finance team they can also support home working.
