WSP Middle East is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Consultant - Health and Safety in our UAE office.
Your new role, what's involved?
- Conduct thorough assessments of workplace environments to identify potential hazards and risks.
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and internal teams on health and safety best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to create customized health and safety programs tailored to their specific needs.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees and clients to promote awareness and adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in health and safety practices.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 6-10 years of proven experience working as a Health and Safety Consultant or in a similar role.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
