iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced and responsible lift engineer to service their client base in the Staffordshire area. The successful candidate will hold the relevant lift related qualifications, be good at developing relationships with customers and adhere well to health & safety. This is a great opportunity to join one the market leaders in the lift industry in a role that offers great interaction with various types of people.
The Role
As a lift engineer you will be working in a specified area, servicing and maintaining all lifts and elevators for the companies customers in the Staffordshire area. Reporting to the service manager you will work as one of many service engineers within the company and will work together to ensure customer expectations are met. There are standard working hours but overtime may be available, and the successful candidate will need the flexibility to work on call one week in every four.
The Company
Operating nationwide, the client are a designer, manufacturer and installer of various types of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways for various types of purposes. They pride themselves on establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients coupled with treating their staff the right way. Based in London but with an additional office in Yorkshire, the company have a number of engineers working in different regions across the UK and now require an additional Engineer in the Staffordshire area.
Requirements
·Minimum 3 years experience in the lift industry
·Relevant lift qualifications, including NVQ Level 3
·Flexibility to work one call out week in four
·Good communication skills
