Job Purpose and Summary

As EMEA Solution Consultant you are responsible to drive the introduction of new software product launches and updates by developing deliverables like  webinars, training and documentation. You develop, improve and share best practices, both for the central Professional Services team and the National Sales Organisations (NSO’s).

As an EMEA Solution Consultant you are part of the Professional Service team which is in our Service & Support organization. You will be responsible for:

• Contribute to the strategic roadmap and product portfolio by identifying and proposing solutions that lead to operational excellence for our customers.
• Understand and confirm customer requirements; develop Canon offering to meet customer requirements to get the most out of their digital print, scan, workflow and archiving solutions, supporting their Workspace productivity.
• Develop webinars, training and documentation to support the launch and updates of Canon products, services and solutions.
• Enable and coach NSOs to deliver and support both standardized and complex customer solutions effectively, with sustainable and high added value. Both with presales and implementation.
• Support NSOs with skills, knowledge, and local customer implementation projects.

What we ask

As a EMEA Solutions Consultant you should bring...

• Bachelor or Master degree.
• Minimal 5 years of experience in customer facing IT consultancy and technical presales role, including SaaS & On-Premise delivery models.
• An excellent understanding of Digital Transformation, IT infrastructure and Information Security concepts.
• Keywords:
  • Customer Print and Scan infrastructure
  • Cloud (Azure, AWS)
  • IT Security
  • Device and Fleet management
  • Managed Print Services
• Fluent in English both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel within Europe (approx. 10-20%)

You will need

A team-player with well-developed social skills who feels comfortable in a multinational environment. You are innovative, creative and eager to keep learning and finding solutions beyond expectations. Keywords: Consultancy mindset, Customer focused. Furthermore you have excellent communication skills for dealing with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels including C-Level.

This role can be based at our HQ in Stockley Park, near Heathrow airport in UK or our offices in Venlo, Netherlands

Grade 13
Job Family:  Sales Support Technical
Salary range:  £63,000-£74,000
Bonus:  10%


Hybrid working:  3 days per week in office and 2 days working remotely within the UK
