Job description
Support worker to help 11 year old boy who is very happy and vibrant with aicardi goutiere syndrome which presents like cerebral palsy at home and in community. He enjoys visiting cinemas, restaurants and going for walks. At home he enjoys playing with play dough and cars. The job would entail working 10 hours per week. Mostly on weekends term time but in holidays weekdays too. You would support him to promote independence skills away from family. Personal care would be needed to help him to toilet. An enhanced dbs would be needed. Confidentiality is of paramount importance.
