Job description
An established leading food manufacturing business based in North Yorkshire is looking for an experienced Stores Supervisor to join the business. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager this role is an integral part of the supply chain team, this is a permanent role offering a wide range of responsibilities.
The successful Stores Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Organising the stores intake and out loading to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensuring effective line management of the shift
- Report non-conformances immediately
- Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately & all products are of the correct specification
- Understanding the production plan to ensure quality products are available
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
- First point of contact in the Stores team
- Liaising closely & working with other department
The ideal Stores Supervisor will have proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. You must have the ability to challenge others and have an understanding of site KPI’s and how they are calculated. It is essential that you have a knowledge of customer requirements and you must be IT proficient. You should also have MHE Certificates in Reach Truck, Ride on Truck and Counterbalance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
