We are looking for Support Workers to work with us in Barnehurst, supporting young adults with learning disabilities, autism, behaviours that challenge, epilepsy, mental health needs & ADHD in their own home.
One of the people we support has particular interest in specific locomotives and heritage railway stations, enjoys watching wildlife programmes and engages actively with people via email, and he would love to share his knowledge and experience with likeminded people!
The ideal person to support them will have, or share, an interest in their hobbies, be able to adapt their communication skills e.g. clear pronunciation of words, slowing down on in their speech, uses correct words to describe items and situations, and has some basic IT skills to support with any technical issues.

Experience in social care is not essential, we provide a full range of accredited and award winning training programmes at no cost to yourself, including the Health and Social Care Diploma that will really support your career progression.
