Job description
The Programmes and Impact Specialist Volunteer at the Blue Magpie Foundation (BMF) will be an integral part of our team, focused on driving the effectiveness and impact of our programmes.
What will you be doing?This role involves conducting research, data analysis, and programme evaluation to ensure that BMF's initiatives are making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children. The Programmes and Impact Specialist Volunteer will play a crucial role in enhancing programme outcomes and maximizing our ability to empower children through education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Programme Evaluation: Collaborate with the programme team to design and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of BMF's programmes.
2. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze programme data, including beneficiary outcomes, to measure the effectiveness of interventions.
3. Research and Best Practices: Conduct research on best practices in educational programmes and interventions for vulnerable children.
4. Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor programme performance indicators and prepare reports on programme impact for internal and external stakeholders.
5. Recommendations for Improvement: Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for programme improvements and enhancements.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with programme managers and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of programmes.
7. External Partnerships: Establish partnerships with external organisations and experts to gain insights and expertise in programme design and evaluation.
8. Impact Communication: Assist in preparing impact narratives and success stories to demonstrate the transformative power of BMF's programmes.
9. Learning and Development: Participate in workshops, webinars, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in programme evaluation and impact measurement.
