Your new role
This is a great full-time opportunity for an ER-biased HR Advisor to join the team, reporting to an experienced and supportive HR Director.
Main purpose of the role:
The post holder will be able to effectively demonstrate and provide support, in relation to company policies, to allocated areas of the business in line with the overall HR / People Strategy. This will include providing a comprehensive and customer focused HR service, covering a broad range of generalists and strategic initiatives. Supporting the HR team in providing responsive, high quality specialist services which guides Line Managers in all areas of the HR function, including leading on a variety of ER case work (disciplinaries, sickness, flexible working requests, welfare / wellbeing sessions etc), developing the HRIS, learning & development, talent management, performance management, updating policies and change management.
This role is full-time 40 hours per week and offers flexible, hybrid working with 3 days / week in their Southampton office vs 2 days WFH. This is a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) position that has the potential to be extended beyond December 2024 or become permanent, but this is not guaranteed.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a personable individual who is resilient and adaptable to a changing role as required to support the business in the most effective manner. You must have at least 3 years experience in an HR / People role or function, as an ER specialist or an HR generalist with an ER bias / preference.
A CIPD qualification (Level 3+) is an advantage, but candidates with no qualification but good experience as above will be considered too.
