We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours that may challenge. Our mission is to empower the individuals we serve to lead fulfilling lives, emphasizing choice, and control over their experiences. Our Facility: Oxley Woodhouse is housed in a charming 19th-century building brimming with character and history. Our service is divided into seven smaller living areas, offering a cozy and homely atmosphere. The main house comprises two 5-bed units and a male-only 3-bed unit, each equipped with its own lounge, kitchen, dining space, and en-suite facilities. Our amenities also include a spacious arts and crafts room, a cinema room for communal enjoyment, and four single occupancy flats within the Lodge. These flats are tailored to individuals with more complex needs, providing additional staff support and personal space. For individuals with mobility issues, we offer ground-floor bedrooms designed to accommodate wheelchairs. Our large garden is a serene outdoor space, perfect for socializing and enjoying BBQs or personal relaxation. What We Offer: A supportive and inclusive environment. You will work closely with individuals with diverse needs, fostering their strengths and preferences to provide personalized care. The position is working 42 hours per week a mixture of days and nights. Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way Assist with medical & welfare needs Report on medical & welfare needs as required Safeguard Maintain a safe, clean environment for all Candidate Requirements: A commitment to empowering individuals with learning disabilities. Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each resident. Experience working with individuals with challenging behaviours, mental illness, forensic backgrounds, personality disorders, or autism is a plus. Knowledge of mobility support is advantageous.
