Progression Coach/Skills Coach
Location- Remote
Permanent role, Monday to Friday
Salary up to £28,000 DOE
Pertemps are delighted to be working with a training provider rated 'Good' by Ofsted who are going through a rapid period of growth. As a result of this, we now have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Progress Coach to join the team. This is a remote position with infrequent travel to West Yorkshire for standardisation meetings.
Key Responsibilities of the Progress Coach - Provide one-to-one support for learners to monitor progress.
- To follow a meeting schedule with allocated learners to discuss all aspects of progress including Education, independence, behaviour attendance and other agreed goals.
- To lead on collaborative working with the learner’s internal and external network of learning and support, including staff and external agencies.
- Input, track and report on progress towards goals and targets
- Take responsibility for own management of the identified caseload of learners
- To liaise closely with curriculum area staff and managers to ensure learners are making strong academic and work experience across progress all their learning.
- To be responsible for liaising with the Learner Journey team in ensuring all paperwork relating to the learner’s placement is up to date and any changes to programmes or other matters are passed on to funding bodies.
Requirements for the Progress Coach - Comprehensive knowledge of current funding rules and Audit partners such as ESFA, Ofsted
- Work-Based Learning Sector knowledge is essential
- Experience working with learners in the Professional Services sector e.g. Leadership and Management, Accountancy etc
- Assessor’s Award (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
- Experience in assessing, and knowledge of the End Point Assessment criteria.
- An enthusiastic, engaging personality in order to help motivate learners
