Thank you for taking the time to read about this new opportunity! We have advertised this role as Newcastle based, but in reality it can be based anywhere in the North East where you have great transport links.
It's a home / field based role with attendance at the Sheffield office once a month for a sales meeting.
You will also be required to attend for 2 weeks in Sheffield for an induction programme and we're trying to align our other starters in the UK to start at the same time so that everyone can be inducted together.

GWE Group Ltd is a Sheffield based electrical engineering company that manufactures a range of eco-max energy saving products.
Founded in 1994, they’re the UK’s original manufacturer of Voltage Optimisation (VO). They’re a family run business who want to stive towards providing a greener and more affordable future.
Going into 2024, they’re looking at developing their growth plan to achieve just that.
Starting with the expansion of their current team of CBMs, recruiting a further 3 to cover more of the UK.
There’s nothing unusual about this role, it has a typical CBM / BDM focus, but we thought sharing a typical week might give you more of an insight into what becoming our new CBM would be like!
Typical week
Meeting with our current reseller partners to further develop existing relationships, offering support and mentorship
Researching and onboarding new partners
Organising and running professional eco-max reseller partner training sessions
Following the full sales cycle from concept to completion to closing deals – the sales cycle can range up to 3 months with the process including collection of data, reporting, presenting findings, conducting site surveys, representing and reviewing installation options
Preparing reports of progress and forecasts to internal stakeholders

About you
All we ask of you is that...

You’ve some experience in a commercial business development / account management or sales role
You have a preference for a role with a technical element
You’re a natural leader who has a positive, can-do attitude
You have a UK Driving License
