• Hybrid working between home and their Bury office (onsite parking)
• Salary up to 65,000 plus excellent benefits inc, Private Healthcare
• Working hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (35 p/w)

With my client, I am currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their team. In the role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring key controls are adhered to, compliance with reporting standards, and providing concise and timely financial reporting and recommendations to senior management.
Alongside the financial responsibilities, you will also manage a small finance team so you need to have passion and drive to develop both people and processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate production of the monthly Management Accounts to key stakeholders.
• Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax, accounting, and financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement financial and operational strategies to support business objectives
• Lead and develop the finance function
• Ensure key financial controls and processes are managed in line with SLA's
• Management and development of the financial systems and processes.
• Develop relevant Financial MI that supports business goals, team performance, and management of risk.
• Support the Treasury & Taxation function with statutory reporting and annual audit management.
• Develop and implement financial and operational strategies to support business objectives
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

To be considered for the Financial Controller role, you must be fully Qualified in either ACCA, ACA or CIMA. You must have a proven track record of managing and performing the above financial responsibilities, as well as a strong passion for managing and developing people and processes.
