A renowned firm of chartered engineers and surveyors is actively seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to be part of their central Milton Keynes office.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage in a wide array of projects within North/Central London and Milton Keynes. It is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality surveying services across various sectors.

The Building Surveyor's role

The successful Building Surveyor will undertake a variety of tasks, contributing to projects in commercial, residential, and insurance sectors. This role demands a versatile skill set and the ability to manage diverse projects effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling high-value design and contract administration instructions.
• Dealing with insurance claims and preparing detailed defect reports.
• Applying a thorough understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
• Managing projects in compliance with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.

The successful Building Surveyor will have?

• BSc or MSc in Building Surveying or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in building surveying, particularly in high-value design and contract administration.
• Proven capability in handling insurance claims and producing defect reports.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
• Familiarity with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
