About the Firm
Biscoes Solicitors are an award-winning regional law firm based in Hampshire and Isle of Wight. We are a thriving firm with a rich history and are seeking an experienced, skilled and passionate Corporate Lawyer (5+ PQE) to join our accomplished Corporate and Commercial team.
Any applicant for this role should have a strong technical knowledge of corporate and commercial matters, have good commercial awareness, and have spent the majority of their post qualification career dealing with corporate and commercial matters.

About the team
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of the Corporate and Commercial team and will be asked to advise on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including:
• Advising and handling company sales and purchases
• Advising and handling asset sales and purchases
• Drafting shareholders agreements and articles of association
• Advising on Facility Agreements, Debentures and Personal Guarantees
• Providing independent legal advice
• Advising on corporate restructuring
• Advising on and negotiating commercial contracts
About you
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a solid foundation in corporate and commercial work and will have the following attributes:
• a good understanding of the corporate market, its challenges and opportunities
• enjoy working methodically and accurately to deadlines
• good commercial awareness
• strong and efficient admin and IT skills
• excellent client care and communication skills
• the ability to maintain excellent client relationships and work with the department to enhance the teams current offering, including participating in business development activities.
