Job description
Robert Half is partnering with well-respected charity, established over 35 years ago, to help recruit a Grants Officer. This is a pivotal role within the finance department where you will work closely with the Finance Manager and Operations team.
Starting ASAP, this is a temporary to permanent role.
This is a Part Time role - 21 Hours per week.
The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, and taking the lead on Grants & Funding, your duties would include:
- Grants & Funding Reporting and Analysis
- Preparation of Budget v Actual reports
- Providing meaningful commentary for Finance Manager
- Implementation of new processes and procedures
- Liaising with Managers, Operations & Fundraising department, and external parties
- Ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience within the Charity Sector will be highly regarded
- CIMA /ACA /ACCA Part Qualified (QBE experience considered)
- Good system skills including intermediate Excel
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaising with managers at all levels
