Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £18 - £21ph
Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Leeds(LS10), which is recruiting for an electrically biased Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
MechanicalMaintenance Engineer Duties & Experience:
- Mechanical Systems Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and optimise efficiency.
- New Installations: Participate in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
- Compliance: Ensure that electrical systems adhere to safety and environmental regulations and standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and electrical drawings.
- Emergency Response: Be part of the on-call emergency response team for electrical issues.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required Experience:
- Experience with industrial maintenance '' Conveyors, mixers, presses etc..
- Plant machinery installation
- Mechanical qualifications
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with mechanical maintenance on plant machinery
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Package:
- Competitive Salary £18 - £21ph

Monday '' Friday day shifts
45 hour week
